On a lovely evening in the sun, our under 11 pairs team continued their winning streak, this time beating Ripley CC u11 Raptor team.
Batting first, we scored 274 (103/5), with runs from Monty Densham (15), Daniel Frost (12), Will Draper (7) and Scarlett Hall (6), with some cracking shots from all, clearly enjoying the fast outfield!
Then managing to defend the score, restricting Ripley to 247 (83/6), with some good bowling, while the bowlers did not take many wickets, the players were great in the field, getting no fewer than 4 run outs, 2 of which were direct hits (Rowan and Charlie).
In the end, it was not a close game, but the fielding was the reason we won easily, so a huge well done to the players!
